"Waymakers Restoration is Amazing"

Waymakers Restoration is amazing! Seriously, we've been so impressed! So conscientious, kind, professional, polite, respectful.. I could go on and on. I'm so glad we could use this company for this experience... an hour of water being dumped into our basement due to a faulty sump pump & lack up system. They created a calming effect over the entire process.

"Great Communication"

I had Waymakers Restoration out this week to clean my carpets, after they were recommended to me by a friend. They did a great job, communicated well and both gentlemen were very polite. It's such a relief to have a company that i can rely on for carpet cleaning and more.

Frequently Asked Questions

We understand you might have few questions

Question 1: What items can survive a house fire?

Surprisingly, many items subjected to heat, smoke, and soot can be cleaned and restored to their original state. WayMakers team members are specially trained in methods that effectively remove extensive smoke and soot residues. Depending on the severity, we may move some items off-site to ensure a thorough cleaning and restoration in our state-of-the-art facilities. WayMakers also staffs and maintains close relationships with industry experts who specialize in electronics restoration, dry cleaning of delicate fabrics, furniture repair and refinishing, artwork, and document restoration. However, know that some items burned by direct flame may not be salvageable.

Question 2: What is the first thing I should do after a fire?

Experiencing a fire to your home or business can be traumatic and stressful, and knowing what to do after a fire can seem overwhelming. First, contact a local disaster relief agency and your insurance company for immediate assistance, especially if you’ve been displaced. Try to locate any necessary documents you’ll need, like a driver’s license and other records, but don’t enter the structure unless the fire department has deemed it safe for you to do so, first.

Question 3: How long does it take to dry out water damage?

Drying out a structure depends on the severity of the water damage that occurred, and they type of structure, with an average situation taking 3–5 days. This can vary greatly though, depending on the magnitude of damage, amount of contents affected, any demolition that may be required, and the presence of any hazardous materials.

Returning a home or business to its pre-loss moisture levels is a closely monitored process, with our professionals making adjustments to equipment to help ensure the area is recovering as quickly as safely possible.

Question 4: How do you restore water damage?

We’ll inspect your home or business and discuss with you the severity of damage and our plan for helping return your property back to pre-loss condition. We’ll then work to remove the water that shouldn’t be there using pumps and water extracting tools. Materials that cannot be restored, may be removed. Once the excess water is gone, we use dehumidifiers and other specialized drying equipment to help return the area to pre-loss condition. The drying process is then continually monitored. We clean and deodorize restorable contents and areas of the structure that need attention.
